Meet this weeks’ Organize Your Life champion Graeme K.

No matter where you live or what job you have, organization is a must. Without organization, productivity can become nearly impossible.

This weeks champion, Graeme, is one of our amazing students from Australia. As a successful events manager, his responsibilities were growing, but his organizational skills were not keeping up, leaving him feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. In just a few short weeks in OYL, Graeme has changed habits and has started to take control, and his results have been amazing. Way to go Graeme!!

Graeme’s Journey

I have always thought of myself as a great ‘multitasker’ and in my job as an event operations manager, the ability to do multiple things at once has always been a benefit. In recent years with changing roles and greater responsibilities, I have found it increasingly difficult to maintain the effectiveness and efficiency that I had been accustomed to, which resulted in frustration, lack of motivation, and lower quality of work.

Because of this, I found I had to work longer hours to get through my workload causing a negative impact on my home life – my workspace and general household chores suffered due to mental and physical exhaustion. It felt like I was in a spin cycle, going around faster and faster. I’ve been following Susan for a couple of years and had seen her courses; I heard nothing but great comments and always wanted to do it but never did anything about it. I knew it was time for me to take back control and I have loved every minute of it!

The purging process and getting rid junk not only lifted a physical weight from me but also an emotional weight. I have started to regain clarity and focus in both my personal and professional lives. Words can’t express how grateful I am to Susan and the Organize Your Life team for all that you have given me. We are only part way through the course and I’ve already signed up for the next one! I feel a deep connection to the training for which I am eternally grateful.
