Do You Want to Work Harder Not Smarter? Learn to Sell Without Selling…

According to Marketing Tech Blog, only 40% of salespeople understand customer pain. Yet, somehow the majority of people in sales seem to do all of talking.

How many times have you walked into a store just to be accosted, possibly by multiple people, that approach too aggressively? We have all been there. We have been pressed to buy something we don’t want by someone we don’t know. That is not how sales should be.

The best people in sales have a different approach altogether. It is not about selling anything you can push in front of a customer’s nose. By and large, people don’t respond well to being told what to buy.

Rather, the consumer wants to be in control. Especially in today’s market, the consumer is in control. Between the ability to research products online, and shop for the best prices, today’s consumer is much more savvy now than ever before.

So, in order to be able to sell in this climate, you need an edge. You not only need to know how to work smarter and not harder, you need to be able to do it.

You have to be able to connect with a potential client, without being pushy. And you have to be able to be able to listen and provide a solution to their biggest points of pain.

Building a good rapport is essential, and earning the trust of a person is a must if they are going to feel comfortable buying your solution to their problem.

Watch the video below to learn more about how to better connect, and inevitably, how to better sell your product or service.
