I like the idea of a nutrition and exercise journal, so I want to thank you for making yours available, however I’ve never bothered with ‘calories’ and wouldn’t find enough benefits to learn now. I think it’s more important to think in terms of size/weight/type of protein and cups of vegetables/fruit/starches. You shared an excellent, easy-to-use chart on page 74 of your book IsaBody Beautiful. It’s also important to acknowledge that calories are concepts, not reality – for example – 50 calories of candy (concentrated sweet that is harmful whether or not it is sweetened with sugar or artificial sweetener, no fiber) is NOT equivalent to 50 calories of vegetables (balances blood sugar and contains fiber). Many people are unaware of what it really means to eat healthy food – and the results/consequences that will show up in how you feel, how you look, how you age.
I know I have seen it before, but I would so appreciate being able to re-read your all time best personal developement book list.
